Junior Logistics Specialist

Key Accountabilities:

·       Working with Shipping Service Providers Companies

·       Compares invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered.

·       Confers with suppliers concerning late deliveries

·       Consults catalogues, Internet, and suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.

·       Receives and reviews requisitions requesting goods or services.

·       Coordinate Service and Rental Equipment

·       Corresponds with suppliers for quotations, and to follow up purchases.

·       Customs Clearance, releasing of all Purchased Equipment

·       Verifies specifications of purchase requests.

·       Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.

·       Estimates values according to knowledge of market price.

·       Expedites orders and requests as needed.

·       Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system for compliance with legal requirements, and shipping and packing facilities for conformity to specified standards.

·       Interviews and confers with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.

·       Maintains files and records of materials, prices, inventories, and deliveries.

·       Examines company's records to secure such information as size and weight of product and results of quality tests.

·       Maintains procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.

·       Making of necessary shipping documentation.

·       Tracking and controlling transportation of all equipment

·       Arranging and making handover (reports) for all purchased and sold equipment.

·       Taking participation in preparation of all selling and purchasing contracts and allocation of shipping and delivery terms

·       May expedite delivery of goods to users.

·       May verify bills from suppliers with bids and purchase orders and approve bills for payment.

·       Supply and Transportation of Equipments to Offshore Platforms

·       Preparation and Control of Shipping Service Contracts after bidding between transportation companies

·       Preparation of monthly, yearly and weekly Movement Reports for the delivered and expecting Equipment and provide management.

·       Prepares work order and sends to supplier and department originating request.

·       Prepares work orders or bid requests.

·       Searches inventory records or warehouse to determine if material on hand is in sufficient quantity.

·       To secure oneself and colleagues during the work process;

·       To attend all company’s training courses and meetings related with safety, firefighting and evacuation;

·       To comply with the safety procedures implemented by the company;

·       To take immediate actions or report to direct supervisor on any actual or potential danger to health, safety or equipment on site;

·       To plan all works under supervision ahead of time, to evaluate risks, to inform relevant parties during pre-work meetings;

·       To comply with ecological standards implemented in the company.


Skills/Knowledge and Experience required on the job:


·                  Bachelor degree

·                  Azeribaijan, Russian, English

·                  1 year of experience in procurement field.
